where about do you stay, you would be best to take her to classes because think about it what if something goes wrong in the training you can’t ask a computer how to fix it but if it is an actual trainer they can give you information on how to train a dog.

YOu can go to the local pet store or the lilbrary and pick up a dog training book. It’s way easier than the internet i believe. Good luck.

If he hasn’t already read one, I think breed-specific books are a must for new dog owners. I wish all breeders would give a copy of a good one out with every puppy.
Here’s one which you can get delivered to you for less then $6.
A New Owner’s Guide to Siberian Huskies (JG Dog) (Hardcover)
by Kathleen Kanzler
$1.38 + 3.99 S&H from Amazon in used but good condition
It can also really help if he can find a local breed club to join because then he can also find information about good (and bad) vets, foods, treats, hikes, parks, etc. It is also fun to see different ages of the same breed, chat with other owners and let puppies socialize with their own kind once in awhile.

Try this:

But from personal experience, I suggest he fork out the money and go to an actual obedience training class. If you look around your area you can find alot of different places to take them. Since husky’s are hard to train in the 1st place this would benefit him later.

No matter if you read books, research websites, or go to an actual trainer remember this…have patience!
Huskies are very stubborn and therefore can sometimes be difficult to train.
In my own experience, don’t yell at the dog. It just makes them scared and they will ignore you.
Treats work wonders. Have small treats on hand and reward them whenever they do something correctly. Treats and lavish praise are always good!
Also, know that no matter how well trained a Sibe is if they dont want to do something, or don’t see the point then they won’t do it!
