When can I start training my puppies?

Posted on Jun 26, 2010 under training puppies | 4 Comments

about a week ago, I got two 7 week old lab puppies. They are already trained to go pee on paper and to go pee and poo outside. I was wondering when I can start training them to sit and stuff like that. I already know how to do it cause I’ve had dogs in the past but we got them when they were older.

you can start at 7 weeks, at 8 to 10 weeks the training becomes most effective, but if you start now they will have a slight head start.

Immediately. I just took in two foster pus that are 8 weeks and they already come when called.

Socialize as much as possible around other dogs when you can (when they’re immunized) because since you got them too early they have a high chance of having behavior issues. BYBs are great, huh?
